What is your lifestyle excuse?

What is it about human nature that keeps us from taking action on things in our life? While chatting with people about my network marketing company of choice, Numis Network,  it seems to be all sorts of reasons. Lets explore through these briefly…

Beach Resort Lifestyle“I don’t have time.”

Really, when you get down to it, there are 24 hours in a day.  It’s our choice as to how to spend those 24 hours. Honestly, if you’re using that as a reason, you’re saying that you’d rather be doing something else with that time.

“I don’t have the money.”

True, but entrepreneurs with “no” money are the rule, not the exception. Starting with a shoestring budget, watching your cash flow and following a plan will move you from just having an idea to creating your dreams.

“I don’t know how to do “it” (whatever it is).”

Thats not so uncommon. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that Thomas Edison didn’t know how to build a light bulb when he started out. Over 10,000 attempts later, we’re using the results of Mr. Edison’s not knowing to use every day.

“I don’t know enough people.”

Enter the 21st Century and the world of Network Marketing! Face it, if we thought we could run a business and be successful with just the people in our personal address book, we’d never pay the first months rent! Social and Network marketing is such a powerful tool that Warren Buffet’s company Berkshire Hathaway purchased Pampered Chef and many large businesses have redirected their advertising funds to exclusively into this medium of advertisement.

“I’m not good at sales, calling, computers, etc..”

I’ve had experience with this myself. I get shy about calling people. The funny thing is, when I get into the groove with it and leap the obstacle of my shyness, I’m pretty good at talking to people on the phone.

“I’m too old.”

Absolutely ridiculous! Here are a few names and ages they started their businesses at: Ray Krok, bought McDonalds from the McDonalds Brothers and developed the first franchise – 52; Colonel Sanders, Kentucky Fried Chicken, 40; SamWalton, Wal-Mart, 40. It’s not your age, but your desire to create the lifestyle that you want to have!

“I’m not ready.”

This can mean one of two things. For some people, this is code for “I’m not interested.” For others, its just one of those little obstacles that hold them back from creating that new lifestyle or income you really want to have. Franky speaking, you’ll never be ‘ready’, you’ll always mistakes and you’ll never have the answers. None of this should deter you from starting down the road to pursuing your dreams.  I’ll address some tips and tricks for this in a future blog.

No matter what your excuse, the conditions and timing will never be exactly right. Your future will change when you stop making excuses to pursue the dreams or lifestyle you desire!

If you’re reading this and thinking “I’m done waiting for my life to happen!” and think coaching can help you, call (239-878-2328) or email.. you deserve to have the lifestyle you want to live!
